A rapid succession of innovations: First came the thermal printer followed by the CV 6000 (the first thermal transfer printer) and then the Genio, whose graphic display and optimised transfer band not only offered intuitive operation but also huge cost savings. The table printer was introduced to the market and is still very successful today, for example the Pica and Spectra. In 1975 the company moved to Neckarstrasse in Schwenningen – the company’s current headquarters. It was a time of great innovation, closely associated with one name: Erwin Tisler. As a young engineer, he helped to introduce many developments – later he went on to guide the company’s future as managing director.
